In today's episode of two minutes motivation. We're going to be talking about reframing things to support your mindset and a happy, healthy, vibrant life. I chatted with Kindra Hall this week, who is the author of a new book, Choose Your Story, Change your life. And she's also the Chief Storyteller at Success Magazine.

So we talked a lot about the power of the stories that we tell ourselves. You may or may not realize that you have stories going on automatically about yourself, about your life, about what you can do, about what you can't do. And those stories have the potential to really help launch you in the direction of your dreams, or they have the potential to hold you back.

So, what I would recommend doing is to start just paying attention to what stories you're telling yourself. And then you can recognize whether or not they serve you. An example would be if you have the story of, I'm not good at this, I'm not good at this. And it could be something related to work. It could be related to a sport.

Anything really, and pay attention to that because what you can then do is you can shift that to something more supportive and it could be something like, instead of saying, I'm not good at this, it could be okay I'm still learning and growing even just that tiny little shift feels more empowering. So start to pay attention to the stories that you're telling yourself and choose to start telling stories that actually will support you in reaching your ultimate potential.

Another thing that people tend to do a lot is inwardly think I'm not worthy of something. And that could come from any number of different places, but start to notice if that arises in certain situations. And then you can start to have a more uplifting, empowering story where you talk to yourself in a way that actually supports you in a place of self love.

So you are worthy, you are capable, you're still learning, you're still growing. And this is all a journey that we're all going through. And we have our own unique challenges and things that we need to overcome. So shift your perspective and that can be completely life-changing. I hope that this helps.

And until next time, this is Kristel Bauer with Live Greatly inspiring you to awaken your ultimate potential.
