In today's episode of two minutes and motivation, we're going to be talking about Navigating Failure. I chatted with Alex Weber this week. We talked a lot about this subject and it inspired me to dig a little bit deeper, to go through some ways to help you navigate failure, to support yourself so that you're able to view failure in an empowering way that supports your personal growth and success.

So the first thing that you can do is to recognize that failure is a key component to your success. In order to be able to reach your ultimate potential and to gain all of the success that you truly want. You're going to have to fail along the way. That's just part of the journey. So if you embrace it and you realize that it makes it all so much easier.

The second thing is to recognize that when you fail it is an opportunity. You are learning and growing. There's nothing to be ashamed about. It's really embracing it and recognizing that it is part of the process.

Now, the third thing that I've heard over and over again from CEOs and entrepreneurs people who are doing really, really incredible things is to fail fast.

What that means is that if you have a new idea, if you're trying something, you have a vision for a new business model or whatever it means. That you try it. And then you get feedback. You get feedback from the market or whatever avenue you need feedback from. Then you adapt and you make changes if needed.

You don't want to have a model that ultimately just isn't going to work. And then you stick with it for years because you're so stuck in your ways. You want to be able to adapt and change and shift if needed. That's part of the process. This can be really hard to do, especially if you have an idea that you are really focused on not changing it. That's the way you want it to be. That is going to set you up for potential disappointment. So really have an open mind here, approach this with the sense of curiosity and adaptability. And if something isn't going to work, fail fast so that you can adjust and adapt and move on to something that really has potential for incredible growth.

So again, things that you need to pay attention to navigate failure or to recognize that failure is a part of success. It's a key component of success. Number two, view it as a learning lesson. It's an opportunity for growth and number three, fail fast.

I hope that this helps until next time. This is Kristel Bauer with Live Greatly, inspiring you to awaken your ultimate potential.
