In today's episode of two minutes of motivation, I'm going to be giving you three ways that you can prevent damage to your hair. And three ways that you can really take care of yourself and your hair for optimal hair health. I chatted with Dan Hodgedon and Dr. Neera Nathan on my podcast this week. And we talked a lot about hair healt, clean beauty and pre-juvenation.
And that conversation got me thinking about this topic. So we talk a lot about preventative care for our bodies and for our skin, but we don't talk about it that often for our hair. And to be honest, I really didn't think that much about it before chatting with Dan and Dr. Neera.
So the first thing that you can do to support optimal hair health and preventing damage and hair loss and all of the things that can come with aging and struggles are manage your stress. Stress can negatively impact our hair and the rest of our bodies. I talk a lot about stress management on this show.
You can go back and listen to a lot of episodes on this with breathing techniques and all sorts of things, but you need to find something that works because stress is going to be a regular part of life. Things happen, life can get stressful. You need to learn ways to manage it.
The second thing is you need to pay attention to the products you're using on your hair.
