Episode Transcript

In today's episode of two minutes of motivation, I'm going to be sharing some of my favorite foods to support optimal health and optimal immune systems. I had a really great conversation this week with Melissa urban. Who's the co-founder and CEO of whole 30. We talked about elimination diets. We talked about food and with the seasons changing, we're getting into the fall season here.

It got me thinking about our immune systems and how we can support ourselves during these seasonal changes. One of the first foods that I like to add to my diet, to support my immune health is garlic. Now, garlic is something that in order to get the maximum benefits you want to crush it and let it sit for a while.

Now, remember, this is just for informational educational purposes. Only. This is not medical advice or treatment recommendations. So the first food is garlic. The second food are Shataki mushrooms. Mushrooms can be really great for supporting optimal immune health. You do want to make sure though that you cook them, you do not want to eat mushrooms.

Raw Shataki are a great choice. The third thing is green tea. Green tea has tons of antioxidants. It's really supportive of overall health and a wonderful way to support your body. Just make sure that you are having your green. With food, you don't want to have your green tea on an empty stomach. And also if you're sensitive to caffeine, pay attention to that.

And the timing of when you have your green tea. Now, the last food I want to mention are red bell peppers, red bell peppers actually have a very high concentration of vitamin C. So that's a great way to get your vitamin C that you need to support your body and your immune system overall, adding more fruits and vegetables into your diet.

Eating all different colors. That is a great way to support your health and your immune system. I shared some of my favorites, garlic Shataki mushrooms, green tea, and REL red bell peppers. But there are so many more foods that are supportive and just eating all different colors, getting more plants, more fruits and vegetables is a great way to support yourself.

I hope that this helps you. And until next time, this is crystal Bauer with live greatly inspiring you to awaken your ultimate potential.
