ABOUT Sonya Looney:

Sonya is an outdoor adventure athlete and American Pro Mountain Biker. She's raced her mountain bike across the world in 25+ countries at the hardest endurance races in places like the sweltering dunes of the Sahara Desert, rugged Himalayas of Nepal, tropical jungles in Asia, steppes of Mongolia, and mountain ranges in Poland. She even became a World Champion in 2015. Her passion is taking on the hardest and/or longest races in the world because it enables her to learn more about herself and life so that she can help others.

Sonya is interested in the integration of high performance and well-being through psychology, contemplative practices, and sport.  She has been able to explore topics like grit, mindset, self-worth, purpose, success, happiness, and healthy striving through her life journeys of becoming mountain bike World Champion, racing internationally, getting her Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, moving to a new country, having children, and continuing to carve her own path in my business.  She is currently a Professional Athlete, Podcast Host, National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Mental Performance Coach, Writer, Keynote Speaker, and student of life!  Sonya is also currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.
