In today's episode of two minutes of motivation. I'm going to be sharing with you four tips to support a growth mindset. I chatted this week with Patrick Dossett, he's the co-founder of Madefor, and we talked a lot about mindset. So that got me thinking about this topic and I want to take a little time with you on this today.

So the first tip is to get curious. So assuming that the way you're doing things is the best way can prevent you from growing and learning. So approach situations with a sense of curiosity and openness, recognizing that you're learning and you're growing and that there's always a new perspective or a new way you can approach something.

The second thing that you can do is to practice reframing. So sometimes self-talk can be negative and it can bring you down and hold you back from doing your best or feeling your best. So, let me give you an example. Going from thinking something like I'm not good at this, which is not going to support growth, you can reframe that into something like I'm still learning, and this is all part of the process.

So just that little shift in perspective can feel so different. So working on reframing with your self-talk can be a really great way to support a growth mindset.

The third tip is to practice self-compassion. So as you're growing and you're learning, you're going to have mistakes and bumps along the way, and that's part of the process. So it's so important that you're able to practice forgiveness and self-compassion.

The fourth tip is to get motivated. So focus on something that gets you excited, something that you're passionate about, something that is an aligned with your personal mission, and that can help support a growth mindset because you're going to want to dedicate time and effort to improve and to grow.

So these four tips again, number one: get curious. Number two: practice reframing, number three: practice self-compassion, and number four: align with something that gives you that inner motivation. I hope that this helps you and until next time, this is Kristel Bauer with Live Greatly inspiring you to awaken your ultimate potential.
