In today's episode of two minutes and motivation. I'm going to be sharing with you three ways to boost your leadership skills. I chatted this week with Kelli Thompson, who's a women's leadership coach, and we talked about different ways to feel more empowered. I love that conversation and inspired me to take a little time on the topic of leadership with you today.

So the first thing that you can do to boost her leadership skills is to identify your personal strengths. Now, if you're saying, okay, I don't really know where to start with this, I'm not sure what my strengths are. Asking people that are close to you can be helpful. Ask your friends, your family, your colleagues, and I'm sure you're going to be getting some really great feedback there.

Another thing you can do is to pay attention to what do people come to you for? What do you get complimented on for? And those are some ways to help you identify what you are really good at.

The second thing that you can do is to focus on boosting your emotional intelligence. Really being able to understand your emotions and be able to navigate them is a way to set yourself up for being a great leader.

The third thing that you can do is to focus on boosting your confidence by recognizing your value. Once you've identified those strengths, you've worked on your emotional intelligence, then it's about feeling more empowered and knowing what you're bringing to the table.

So whenever you go into a situation, whether it be a business meeting, going in for a promotion. Recognize all of the different things that only you can bring to the table, you have so many incredible gifts and talents to offer.

So again, these three things are number one, identify your strengths. Number two, boost your emotional intelligence. And number three, focus on your unique value add.

I hope that this helps. Until next time, this is Kristel Bauer with Live Greatly inspiring you to awaken your ultimate potential.
